FAQ: "Which Part(s) Of Your Projects Do You Outsource?"

As far as copywriting is concerned, I do it myself. I write the draft and send it over to you for the first round of revision. After revising, I send it to you again for the second round of revision.

Once we are certain that everything is as good as it can be, I send the copy to my editor/proofreader. She has a Masters Degree in English from Cambridge University, and we've been working together since 2005.

After getting back the proofed and edited copy from her, I send it over to you again to make sure everything is to your liking. If needed, I make the last round of fiddling, send you the final version and then the copy is done.

Most of my clients pay me fee plus percentage of sales, so I'm available to them to continually tweak the copy for better performance. Please note that the copy is never at its best right out of the gate. First we put this "cold bore" copy to the test and monitor the living daylights out of it.

Then based on analysis results, I start tweaking certain segments of the copy. And this tweaking is an ongoing process for smart clients. They know the difference, and want to make sure that the copy makes full impact in the market.

However...

When I write white papers, case studies or other more detailed documents, they often need illustrations. There are certain simple illustrations (graphs and process visuals) that I can do, but not complex ones that need serious Photoshop work. For that purpose, I have my trusted partners, and I work with them. Still my invoice for you covers everything, and I take care of the details with my partners.
